When launching this bottling it was one of the oldest Arran on the market. Soon after the launch I had the opportunity to put this expression in a line up against several market house expressions in the distillery itself. And boy, did it stand its ground : pure, tasteful and well balanced. This Arran lives up to the high standard set by the distillery, and in my opinion (but maybe I'm biased) surpasses it with regard to most of the market house bottlings.
